Ok, we all have preconceived notions about ebay. Just set them aside for a minute please. This online auction has come a looong way since it debuted. Heck, it has come a long way since I was a 13 year old girl obsessed with the Backstreet Boys, and bought all my own Christmas presents off of ebay (all BSB things…necklace, signed photo, etc.) Now that I think about it, I don’t know what kind of eggnog my parents were drinking to let their teenage girls have their credit card and buy whatever they wanted offline. That’s weird and beside the point, so moving on…
Today, ebay (atleast to me) seems a lot more like amazon.com, besides the fact that you bid on some items. With other items, you do have the ‘buy it now’ option. You can really find get deals on ebay, and still get great quality products. My friend was looking at suits and he say a $500 suit with bids starting at a penny! Some sellers even offer the “bill me later” option allowing customers 6 months to pay.
If saving money wasn’t a good enough perk, it is also easy to use. Again, if two technically impaired teenage girls could figure it out, anyone can.
Ebay also likes you “like”, “add to wish list, and watch whichever products you choose. Sellers get ratings based on reviews and feedback from the buyers. All this information is available on the site, so you can get an idea of who you are potentially buying from, whether it be a random person in Texas or a company.
Right now is the time to take advantage of their holiday deals, last minute deals and free shipping offers.
